Debra Sumption, a Senior Paralegal at Pabian & Russell, LLC, has over 30 years law firm experience and has built a reputation handling complex transactions, managing deadlines and working with multiple parties, all while employing excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Debra built a successful career as a paralegal after working as a legal secretary. Debra has worked with Partner Jay M. Pabian for 25+ years. She specializes in business law, including organizing various corporate entities, corporate stock acquisitions and sales, buy-sell agreements, and reorganizations; and residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing, financing, and estate planning and probate related real estate transfers.
Debra has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Salve Regina College (now Salve Regina University). Debra is a member of the Massachusetts Paralegal Association, the National Federation of Paralegals, the Real Estate Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Debra volunteers with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and participates in its Team in Training program and its Light the Night Walk. Debra was a 2013 candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year Campaign.
