Meghan L. Tufts is an associate at Pabian & Russell, LLC, concentrating in the areas of general business law for privately held businesses, trademark selection and protection, intellectual property transactional work, complex commercial contracts, corporate entity selection and formation, employment agreements and compensation, federal and blue-sky securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. Meghan earned her Juris Doctor from the Northeastern University School of Law in 2001; in 1996 she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Middlebury College. While at Northeastern, Meghan clerked for the Honorable Lawrence P. Cohen of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to attending law school, she supported attorneys at the New York County District Attorney's Office and at the Public Defenders Service for the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Pabian & Russell at its inception in March 2005, Meghan was an associate in the Boston office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from 2001 to 2003, and in the Boston office of Keegan Werlin & Pabian, LLP from 2003 to 2005. Meghan was named to the Massachusetts Rising Stars list by Law & Politics and New England Super Lawyers® in 2005, 2006, and 2007; this distinction is given to only the top 2.5% of up-and-coming attorneys in Massachusetts. Meghan is admitted to practice before the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She remains involved with Middlebury College as an alumna interviewer, helping to assess candidates for admission.
