James W. Murphy is an associate at Pabian & Russell, LLC, concentrating in the areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration. James received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Boston College in 2002. While at Suffolk, James was an editor of the Journal of Health & Biomedical Law. During law school, James clerked at the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division. In his final year of law school, James participated as a student attorney in the Family Advocacy Clinic at Suffolk, aiding indigent clients in divorce and child custody issues. James is admitted to practice before the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He also is a member of the American and Boston Bar Associations, and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
