Karyn M. Ellinger is a partner at Pabian & Russell, LLC, concentrating in the areas of estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts, and family business succession planning. She was instrumental in developing the firm’s Life Care Practice, which assists families in optimizing care and lifestyle quality for seniors and disabled adults. Karyn advises individuals and families on a broad range of wealth transfer strategies and counsels executors, administrators, and trustees in connection with the administration of estates and trusts. Karyn earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, in History from Harvard University.
Prior to joining the firm in July 2005, Karyn was associated with the Portland, Maine, office of Verrill Dana, LLP and the Boston office of Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP. Karyn was named to the 2008, 2009, and 2010 Massachusetts Rising Stars list by Law & Politics and New England Super Lawyers; this distinction is given to only the top 2.5% of up-and-coming attorneys in the state. Karyn is admitted to practice before the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Maine, and the United States Tax Court. She is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
