Karyn M. Ellinger is a partner at Pabian & Russell, LLC concentrating in the areas of estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts and family business succession planning.  Karyn advises individuals and families regarding estate and gift tax planning and counsels executors, administrators and trustees in connection with the administration of estates and trusts.  Karyn received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, in History from Harvard University in 1997.  Prior to joining the firm in July 2005, Karyn was an associate in the Portland, Maine office of Verrill Dana, LLP from 2003 to 2005, and in the Boston office of Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP from 2001 to 2003. 

Karyn was named to the 2008 and 2010 Massachusetts Rising Stars list by Law & Politics and New England Super Lawyers, a distinction given to only the top 2.5% of up-and-coming attorneys in Massachusetts.  Karyn is admitted to practice before the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Maine and the United States Tax Court.  She also is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council.
