Marlee Cowan is an associate with Pabian & Russell, LLC, concentrating in estate planning, probate administration, real estate, and tax matters. Marlee received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New England School of Law, where she earned numerous academic awards. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Interdisciplinary Studies emphasizing International Relations and Human Rights Protection. While at New England School of Law, Marlee worked as a legal intern with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Region I. Prior to that, she worked with Representative Denise Provost in the Massachusetts State House on legislation to reduce pollution. Marlee is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New Hampshire, and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. Marlee represents asylum seekers pro bono through Community Legal Services and Counseling Center in Cambridge and volunteers her time with Green Pro Bono. She is also a co-founder of Mobilize.org, where she was on the Board of Directors for seven years and now serves as an advisor.
